When I went to add a review, I noticed the home page stated “We make your stay unforgettable”. Nothing could be more accurate! The accommodations were impeccable with every possible amenity readily available. The furnishings were unique and inviting and the artwork was captivating. The availability of a gorgeous pool and outdoor dining area provided an unparalleled 180 degree tree-top view. An added bonus was access to the Langosta Beach Club. But the best part of all was knowing that Erik and Dominique had us covered. They put the same level of effort and care into our stay as they had into their properties. They were readily available before and throughout our stay to answer any questions and to offer suggestions (based on their first hand experiences!) of where we should go (and, as important, where we shouldn’t go) to eat, hike, explore and how we should prioritize our activities to get the absolute most out of our time there. They are unforgettable too!

This home exceeded all expectations and was pure luxury from start to finish. Every room is beautifully designed, making it hard to choose where to stay. The multi-level deck is perfect for relaxing, dining, and spending time together, and the infinity pool is incredibly refreshing, you almost don’t want to leave the property. The location is ideal, and the home feels both private and peaceful.
Dom and Erik are outstanding hosts! Extremely responsive, attentive, and proactive with recommendations, including arranging reservations at amazing beach clubs. The amazingly curated staff was warm, professional, and truly enhanced the experience. This was hands down our favorite vacation and best Airbnb stay ever. Highly recommend. Pura Vida!

Casa Pochote is truly a special place and far exceeded our expectations. Our group of seven adults had plenty of room to spread out, yet the house also offered great spaces that brought us together — from the open living room to the inviting outdoor decks.
We enjoyed the beach club (included with the house) with its beautiful shoreline, cabanas, and great food and drinks, but the house quickly became the place we loved most. The infinity pool, jacuzzi, outdoor kitchen, comfortable lounging areas, and game room made it easy to settle in and enjoy being together. Getting to watch (and hear) the howler monkeys up close was unbelievable.
Rosa is an absolute gem! She came each day to tidy up and prepare a meal we chose, and everything she made was delicious. We loved each of her authentic Costa Rican breakfasts and lunches, and she cooked an incredible dinner for our last night. My girls were genuinely sad to say goodbye to her.
Erik and Dom are fantastic hosts — responsive, thoughtful, and always ready to help with anything we needed. From booking to checkout, they made the entire experience smooth and enjoyable.
Casa Pochote gave us a memorable family vacation, and we left already talking about when we could return.
